FAQ

Consultations & estimates

How soon will I hear back after contacting you?

We usually reply to inquiries sent through our contact form or by email within one business day (excluding weekends and Japanese public holidays). If it's urgent, you can also call us (weekdays 10:00–19:00 JST).

Do you charge for consultations or estimates?

Consultations and estimates are free. Contact us through the inquiry form or by phone (weekdays 10:00–19:00 JST). Once we understand your needs, we'll explain how we would proceed and how costs would be calculated. Consulting us does not commit you to a contract.

Our requirements aren't settled yet. Can we still talk to you?

Yes. It's fine to come to us at the stage of "we want to fix this manual task" or "we don't know where to start." We'll learn about your current workflow and work out with you what to systematize and in what order.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

We develop business systems, websites, and mobile apps, automate workflows with AI, and build cloud and data platforms. We also take on modifications to existing systems and websites, and projects for businesses that span Japan and Korea.

Can we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before discussing our project?

Yes. We're happy to sign an NDA. If your inquiry involves internal operations or data and you'd like to sign one first, just let us know when you contact us.

How projects run

How do we get from a first consultation to the start of development?

We start by learning about your operations, then propose the challenges to address and the scope of work. Once you're happy with the proposal, we provide an estimate, and after the contract is signed we begin design and development. See our Process page for details.

Who will work on our project?

The person who takes your inquiry handles design, development, and operations. Because the person who listens to you is the one who builds it, there's no need to relay your requirements from a sales rep to a developer, so misunderstandings are less likely.

Can we check progress during development?

We agree with you on how and how often to share progress, depending on the project. We show you working screens as early as possible and move forward as you try them out. Whenever a decision is needed, we consult you at that point.

Can we work with you in English or Korean?

Yes. We work in Japanese, English, and Korean. On projects that involve overseas offices or partners, or work that mixes Japanese and Korean, we can hold meetings and exchange documents in each language.

Costs & contracts

What contract types do you offer?

There are three: a fixed-price contract, a monthly maintenance and operations contract, and technical advisory. Choose based on your goal — a fixed-price contract for development with a defined scope, a monthly contract for operations and improvements after launch, and technical advisory for strategy discussions and technical advice. They can also be combined.

How much will it cost?

It depends on the scope of work, the number of features, and whether integration with existing systems is needed. Our Pricing page gives general guidance. We provide a formal quote after hearing your requirements.

Can you work within our budget?

If you share your budget in advance, we'll propose what can be achieved within it. We can also prioritize the features you need, start small, and expand as you see results.

What happens if our requirements change after the contract is signed?

It's common for needs to change as work progresses. If the requirements or scope change, we lay out the affected work and timeline, discuss it with you, and revise the estimate if necessary.

Operations & maintenance

Can you maintain the system after launch?

Yes. Under a monthly maintenance and operations contract, we keep handling bug fixes, small changes, and server operations after launch. Because the people who developed the system take it on, you never have to explain the background from scratch.

What does maintenance cover?

The scope is agreed when you sign the contract, based on the system and your needs. We'll propose what's needed — such as bug fixes, minor modifications, and operational reviews — after hearing your requirements. Requests beyond the agreed scope are discussed case by case.

Can we add features as we go?

Yes. Many improvements only become clear once you start using a system. We can keep adding features and refining screens based on how the system is used. Larger additions are estimated separately.

We develop in-house. Can we hire you for technical advice only?

Yes, through a technical advisory contract. We advise your in-house development from an outside perspective on topics such as system architecture, how to use the cloud, and how to adopt AI. How often we meet and what we cover are tailored to your needs.

Tell us what you're working on.

You don't need a finished spec. Tell us about the problem you're facing, and we'll propose an approach and a rough estimate. Consultations and estimates are free, and we usually reply within one business day.
